Salo Creative are hiring once again! We’re on the lookout for a Junior Digital Designer who is enthusiastic about design and loves a challenge. You don’t need years of experience, but you should have a keen eye for creative detail and a logical mindset.

Location

Fully remote with monthly team meet-ups for work and socialising in Wareham, Bournemouth, Warminster or Salisbury.

Remuneration

Starting Salary of £22,000 per year, full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 – 5.

What you’ll do

As a Junior Digital Designer, you’ll play a key role in helping us produce thoughtful and well-crafted designs. You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team where your input is valued 
from day one.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with our design team to create high-quality digital designs, including web pages, apps, graphics, and layouts
  • Assisting our agency partners with ongoing design needs
  • Contributing to user experience improvements 
  • Solving design challenges with creativity 
and logic
  • Participating in project stand-ups and keeping communication clear and open

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about design and loves a challenge. You don’t need years of experience, but you should have:

  • A keen eye for creative detail and a 
logical mindset
  • Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite – experience with Figma is a plus
  • A passion for user-centred design that’s both functional and visually appealing
  • Strong communication and time 
management skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
